more travel thing really threw me off and the part about the daughter was sad, then she came back as one of them and I flat out hated it, I know this sounds bad but I think I would have liked it better if she had died at the jail then at the top of the hospital with her mom. The ending was flat out horrible and I didn't really like the part leading up to the end either, the SPOILER ALERT time. Review 2: I flat out love End of the World by Disease books but I was so disappointed with this one. I don't want my review to turn anyone away from the series. : Flu, The (9781522600763) by Jacqueline Druga and a great selection of similar New, Used and Collectible Books available now at great prices. "Oh, hey the way" followed by "you are? Huh. In my eyes, this was a pretty huge turning point in the story but I feel the reveal and acceptance by the characters was a little too casual. It appeared out of nowhere, and just as quickly as it surfaced, the Spanish Flu vanished. But I'm not completely sold on the major twist that's introduced about 2/3rds through. In 1918 forty-million people succumbed to a particular strain of swine flu. It's a heart wrenching story, I like the characters and the plot. Review 1: I'm going to run with a 3.5 on this book.
